Jackson SLX Soloist X Series Electric Guitar w/ Floyd RoseJackson
Distinctive and affordable, Jackson’s X Series Soloist models are built for speed! Jackson’s venerable double cutaway workhorse offers many fine features desired by today's shredders.
The X Series Soloist™ SLX features a basswood body, through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement and tilt-back scarf joint headstock. Hosting 24 jumbo frets, its 12"-16" fully bound compound radius rosewood fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out.
Condition: When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issue found by the authorized refurbisher was a very tiny indentation on the side of the neck (see photo). The dent can't be felt while playing the guitar, so it's barely noticeable. No repairs were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. Aside from the tiny dent on the neck, the guitar looks mint. When we received the guitar, we dialed in the action to get it nice and low - 12th fret measurements are now 3/64" (bass side) and 2/64" (treble side). Guitar plays lightning fast with no fret buzz! The Floyd Rose Special is set parallel to the body and all electronics are in perfect working order. Back of the headstock is stamped "used" and original serial # has been replaced with a new one.
