Fender Tony Alva Sonoran SE Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric GuitarFender
With its dual three-ply pickguards, White Pearl gloss top finish and Shoreline Gold-finished mahogany back and sides, the Tony Alva Sonoran™ SE is every bit as distinctive as its designer. But renowned skateboarder Tony Alva didn’t want to build a guitar that wasn’t accessible for the thriving surf and skate culture he helped define. That’s why his signature model is priced affordably for all musicians who want an excellent acoustic-electric great for alternative rock, pop, punk, Americana and more. With a dreadnought body and scalloped “X” bracing, the Tony Alva Sonoran SE has a strong, articulate voice, and its high-quality onboard electronics deliver great amplified tone and performance.
Condition: When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issue found by the authorized refurbisher was a tiny chip in the paint on the front of the headstock (see photo). No repairs or modifications were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. Aside from the minor cosmetic flaw, the guitar looks mint. When we received the guitar, we straightened the neck and set the action at the 12th fret to 5/64" (bass side) and 4/64" (treble side). Guitar plays great with this set-up! All electronics are in perfect working order. Back of the headstock is stamped "used" and original serial # has been replaced with a new one.

About our set-ups: We do our best to accurately describe the current set-up and playability of each guitar. However, due to temperature and humidity changes the guitar may experience while in transit, it's possible for the neck and body to slightly "adjust" along the way. After all, guitars are primarily wooden instruments that are highly susceptible to their environment. By the time you receive the guitar, un-box it and tune it up, you may find that it needs a slight adjustment to get it back to the set-up specs that we originally described in our listing. Please keep this in mind before purchasing.
