A recent episode of Premier Guitar's 'Rig Rundown' revealed a lot more about Dave Stewart than just his guitar setup. The legendary guitarist talked openly at the Basement East in Nashville about songwriting with Mick Jagger and how the death of Annie Lenox impacted his life and music.

Of course Stewart also talks a bit about his gear, which includes the Gretsch Country Gent he played on the song 'Here Comes the Rain Again' and the Takamine he bought in Nashville.

Stewart, the Grammy award winner who's 30-year career has also included work with Bono, B.B. King, Tom Petty, recorded his latest album, Blackbird Diaries here in Nashville.

His best piece of studio advice, "If you surround yourself with genius players, it's best not to tell them what to do."
